Teaching speech skills to children with autism can present many challenges.
This workshop aims to help participants overcome these challenges by empowering them with the knowledge and skills to effectively teach children with autism to speak.
Participants will also be taught practical ideas and strategies to help facilitate the systematic development of speech in children with autism.
This workshop will focus on helping participants to:

 

	Get children with autism ready to speak
	Understand and follow the steps for developing speech
	Use key daily routines for developing speech

 

Objectives of The Course
 

Upon completion of the training workshop, participants will be able to:

	Understand the pre-requisite skills for speech development and how to develop these
	Understand the speech development hierarchy
	Apply daily speech facilitation routines
